This new born hat and cardigan set is handknitted from 100% merino wool, giving it a naturally soft, comfortable feel against delicate skin. The design is my own, created to balance gentle shaping with practical warmth and a coordinated finish. The cardigan features a green and red tartan trim, tartan-covered buttons, and a small heart motif knitted into the lower stripe for a thoughtful detail.
 
The handmade nature of the set is reflected in the careful finishing throughout, especially the tartan-covered buttons, which add character and set the piece apart from standard new born knitwear. The matching hat follows the same design elements and includes a handmade merino wool pompom that is secure, light and soft.
