This handcrafted wood snowman is individually made by Joe using solid timber and traditional woodturning techniques, allowing the natural grain and character of the wood to remain visible. The snowman features a hat turned from yew wood, chosen for its rich tone and durability, and stands securely on a live-edge wooden base.
 
Finished with linseed oil for protection and longevity, this piece is designed to last and be enjoyed year after year. Natural hazel twigs are used for the arms, adding a subtle rustic detail that complements the character of the wood.
 
Each snowman is made slowly, one at a time. Variations in grain, colour, and form are part of the nature of handcrafted work and ensure every piece is unique.
 
Important:
The hazel twig arms are push-fitted into the body rather than permanently fixed. This allows them to be removed for protection during storage and transport. As natural hazel is used, the arms may vary slightly from those shown in the photographs.
